"A Pink Room for a Pink Dog" (2021)

"A Pink Room for a Pink Dog" is a multi-media installation presenting the fascination with a peculiar and strong visual language. Through the crafting of harsh and pointy objects their immediate demeanor is immediately contrasted with the pastel wallpaper and supposedly safe aspects of an interior space.

Presented during "As Is, Where Is" at Verheeskade 321, in Den Haag in 2021.

Experimenting with different materials and how to mould a specific visual vision onto a variety of materials was at the forefront of the artistic approach. The choice of the language used in the crated imagery is a playful take on the personal fascinations, domestic objects and grotesque images.
