"Synthetic Softness" is an audio-visual installation in which Jeremi questions the blurry lines between synthetic and natural. Using a set of two loudspeakers permanently attached to an exterior acrylic fur membrane, the installation projects a synthetically generated soundpiece generated using modular synthesis along a sizebly small video attached to a digital screen behind a carved wooden frame.

The video shows the artist wearing one of the previously made headpieces, breathing steadily towards the camera, embracing their body. The accompanying sound is meant to artificially resemble ambience found in natural landscapes. Together, the installation plays along the boundries of what artificial and organic means in a contemporary setting, how it is reflected in everyday ecounters and how it is embraced by individuals in contrast to what is usually perceived as such.
